The National Law University, Delhi (NLUD) through its Notification No. NLUD / Notification / 2017 dated the 6th of October 2016 has officially notified the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2017 Schedule. Online Registration for admission into Law Courses shall commence on the 1st of January 2017 onwards.
AILET Law Entrance Test 2017 Notification
The National Law University, Delhi, in keeping with their fore cited Notification shall conduct on the 7th of May 2017 the All India Law Entrance Test 2017 at various Examination Centers. The National Law University shall conduct the AILET 2017 for admission in to B.A.LL.B. (Hons.),One Year LL.M. and Ph.D. Programs.

Scheme for All India Law Entrance Test 2017:
The National Law University, Delhi shall conduct the All India Law Entrance Test comprising the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions on General Knowledge / General Affairs, Current Affairs, and the Multiple Choice Questions based on the Paper relevant to the All India Law Entrance Test. AILET Law Entrance Test 2017 Application Form
Eligibility Criteria (As On 01.07.2017):

Eligibility: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% of marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th Standard Examination March / April 2017 are also ELIGIBLE to apply for the NLUD AILET 2016.
Age : Below 21 Years as on 1 July, 2017 (23 Years in case of SC/ST Candidates).
Total Seats: 80 + 1 [70 Seats on merit through AILET 2016 and 10 Seats for Direct Admission to Foreign Nationals on Merit]. Foreign Nationals, in order to be Eligible must have secured 65% Marks in the Qualifying Examination.
Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities.
Note: : One additional seat for Kashmiri Migrants. The candidates have to appear in the All India Law Entrance Test and fulfill the Eligibility Criteria as applicable.
|Master of Laws (LL.M.) 01-Year||
Eligibility: LL.B. or an Equivalent Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability). The Candidates appearing in final LL.B. Examination in April/May, 2016 are also Eligible to apply.
LL.M.: Total Seats: 20 + 5 Seats for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET.
Reservation: 15% for SC Candidates, 7.5% for ST Candidates, 3% for Persons with Disabilities
|Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) 01-Year||
Eligibility: LL.M. Degree with 55% Marks or its equivalent (50% in case of SC / ST / Persons with Disability). Detailed Eligibility Conditions visit University Website Ph.D.
The National Law University, Delhi shall hold on the 7th of May 2017 the AILET 2017 for admission into B.A., LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programs at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Noida and Patna.
Previously, Demand Draft Sum was Rs.2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand Five Hundred Only) for General Candidates, Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) drawn in favor of “REGISTRAR, NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI”, payable at Delhi along with copies of requisite Caste / PD Certificate.
Below Poverty Line (BPL) Applicants of SC/ST Category are exempted from Application Fee.
