 Selection Procedure:

  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. Main (Written) Examination
  3. Interview

Selection Criteria

Strictly in order of Higher Merit prepared on the bases of the Candidates’ performance and Marks secured both in the Main Examination and Personal Interview adhering to the norms of Vertical and Horizontal Reservation as per prescribed law in force.

The Assam Public Service Commission shall conduct the Personal Interview / Viva-voce carrying 200 Marks. However, the APSC shall not consider the Marks secured in the Interview as the Final Qualifying Marks.

The Assam Public Service Commission shall add the Total Marks secured by the Candidates at the Viva-voce / Oral Test to the Marks obtained by the Candidates in the Written Part of the Main Examination in order to determine the Final Ranks of the Candidates before recommending the Candidates having been the Rank on Sufficient High Marks both in the Main Examination and Interview put together.
