The Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Faculty of Law is likely to issue shortly a Notification / Under Graduate Entrance Test (UET) in respect of the Banaras Hindu University Law Admission Test (BLAT) 2017 for admission into Bachelor of Arts Bachelor of Laws. (B.A. LL.B.) (Honors) / LL.B. (Honors) Course for the Academic Year 2017 – 2018 as soon as possible through the University official portal. Those students want to take admission in Law courses then they wants to crack the BLAT 2017 compulsory.

BHU BLAT LAW ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM 2017

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Law Faculty shall conduct the Banaras Hindu University Law Entrance Test (BLET) 2017 for the candidates aspiring to seek admission in the B.A. LL.B. (Hons) as well as the LL.B. (Hon’s) Course under Special Courses of Study (SCS) through the website of the BHU official. MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY (EDUCATIONAL) REQUIREMENT:

Applicant who has successfully completed or is appearing in the Senior Secondary School (10+2) or Equivalent (Such as 11+1, “A” Level in Senior School Leaving Certificate Course) from a Recognized University of India or outside or from a Senior Secondary Board or Equivalent constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government or from any Equivalent institution from a foreign country recognized by the Government of that country for the purpose of issue of qualifying certificate on successful completion of the course. However, the applicants who have obtained 10+2 through Open Universities System directly without having any basic qualification for prosecuting such studies shall not be eligible for admission to 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Course. Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission not below 50% of total marks in case of General category applicants: 45% in case of OBCs and 40% in case of SCs & STs applicant.

APPLICATION FEE AND MODE OF PAYMENT:

  1. Online Payment of General Candidates Rs. 200/- and SC/ST Candidates Rs. 100/-through Credit Card/ Debit Card through the Payment Gateway available on the Banaras Hindu University Entrance Test Portal.
  2. Payment of Entrance Test Fee in Cash through “Challan” at any Branch of HDFC

ADMIT CARD

The candidates can get the BLAT 2017 Exam Admit card before the examination at the soonest possible promptly through the website of the Department. The department will upload the Exam Admit card for BLAT 2017 within 7 days from the examination at the portal of the University.

OLD QUESTION PAPERS

The candidates who will applied for the BLAT 2017 after that can get the Old question Papers subject wise/ year wise for the hard preparation of BLAT 2017 from the official website of the BHU Portal.

ANSWER KEY

The department will provide you Provisional answer key as well as final Answer key Set Wise like Set-A, Set-B, Set-C and Set-D along with Question Papers at the quickest possible through the website of the university. They will upload the provisional answer key within 3 to 7 days from the examination after that the candidates can be submitted any objection against BLAT provisional answer within given time limit at the website as stated hereunder. The department will upload the final answer key BLAT after 15 days (tentative) from the objection.

RESULTS AND MERIT LIST

The department will declare the results statement along with merit list of successful candidates very shortly through the website. Those candidates will be shortlisted in the merit list then they will be face counseling rounds for the Admission.

DOCUMENTS IN ORIGINAL REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION (XEROX ALSO)

Only those candidates who are selected/ waitlisted shall be informed through a ‘Call Letter’ (to be downloaded from the Entrance Test Postal) by the concerned Dean of Faculty/Head of the Department, BHU about their admission. If a candidate is called for admission to a particular course on a particular date/dates, he/she shall have to bring with him/her all the necessary documents mentioned below in ORIGINAL failing which his/her admission shall NOT be considered    

  1. Transfer Certificate.
  2. Migration Certificate, if passed from a university other than BHU (To be submitted not later than 90 days of admission).
  3. High School Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
  4. Intermediate (+2) Certificate/equivalent Certificate.
  5. Mark sheets of High School/equivalent & Intermediate (+2)/equivalent.
  6. Mark sheet of the Qualifying Examination.
  7. UET Admit Card issued from the office of the Controller of Examinations, BHU
  8. SC/ST/OBC Certificate on the basis of which reserved quota seat is claimed.
  9. Certificate (s) in support of claim for ‘Sports Seats’.
