The Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks (CGPDTM) has declared the examination dates of Main Examination for the 5751 candidates who have been declared qualified in the preliminary examination to give the Main examination for the post of Examiner of Patents and Trade Marks. It has already declared the result of the Preliminary Examination and uploaded the list of the names of the candidates who have been declared qualified to give the examination of Mains.

CGPDTM Patents & Design Examiner Main Exam Syllabus 2015

The Controller General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks (CGPDTM), According to the information bulletin it is decided that the Main Examination will be conducted on 18th October, 2015. And the E-admit card for the Main Examination shall be issued from 12th October, 2015. 5751 candidates shall go to their respective examination centers to give the Main Examination on date which has been mentioned above.

Examination Pattern:

The Main Examination mainly shall have two papers namely Main Exam Paper-I and Main Exam Paper-II:

Main Exam Paper I: This papers will be a descriptive type Question Paper of the concerned Discipline / Subject opted by the candidates at the time online registration. This paper will be of 3 hours duration and will have 300 marks.

Main Exam Paper II: This paper will be an English Proficiency Question Paper. This paper will be of 1 hour duration and will carry maximum 100 marks.
