CSIR NET JRF December 2016 Online Application Form,Syllabus,Admit Card:

The Council for Scientific And Industrial Research (CSIR), Online Registration vide Advertisement No.10-2(5)/2016(ii) – EU – II for Joint CSIR – UGC Test, December 2016 for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) And Eligibility for Lectureship through National Eligibility Test (NET) has commenced w.e.f. this day, the 16th of August 2016 (16.08.2016).

The Council for Scientific And Industrial Research (CSIR), Deadline for submission of the Online Application Forms (at all Stations throughout India) closes on the 9th of September 2016 (25.09.2016).

The Last Date for Payment of the Examination Fee at all the Stations for the Candidates is the 8th of September 2016 (08.09.2016). The Joint Council for Scientific And Industrial Research – University Grants Commission Test, National Eligibility Test (NET), December 2016 has been scheduled tentatively for the 18th December 2016  (18.12.2016) for award of Junior Research Fellowship And Eligibility of Lectureship (JRF&EL).

The Council for Scientific And Industrial Research & Human Resource Development Group (CSIR & Human Resource Development Group) have invited Online Application Forms from the bona fide Indian citizens for Joint Council for Scientific And Industrial Research – University Grants Commission (CSIR & UGC) for award of the Junior Research Fellowship And Eligibility for Lectureship.  

The CSIR – Human Resource Development Group is likely to announce in March / April 2016 the Final Result of the Single Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions (OTMCQs) in the Optical Markup Reader Answer Sheet (OMRAS). The Candidates Merit-listed would become ELIGIBLE for practicing JRF & EL effective from the 1st of July 2016. The candidates shall have a validity time of Two (02) Years for joining the Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility of Lectureship under the Council for Scientific And Industrial Research Scheme.

The Council for Scientific And Industrial Research & Human Resource Development Group would generate after the e-Admission Certificates / Hall Tickets for the registered candidates on the Website.

Age Limit and Category wise Relaxations in Upper Age Limit:

As regards the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

A Candidate belonging to General Category should be Maximum 28 Years of Age.

The Candidates belonging to Reserved Category (SC / ST / OBC – NCL) shall be granted Upper Age Limit Relaxable up to Five (05) Years. The same would be applicable for the Candidates belonging to PH / VH and Female Applicants too.

For Eligibility for Lectureship (ELS): There is No Upper Age Limit.

The List of the Candidates registered for the NET UGC Test would be displayed on the CSIR – Human Resource Development Group Website latest.. Hence, the candidates must keep visiting the CSIR HRDG Website to check their respective registration for Updates at times.

The Council for Scientific And Industrial Research Human Resource Development Group shall prepare Two separate Merit Lists; i.e., One comprising the candidates DECLARED CSIR – HRDG UGC NET, December 2016 QUALIFIED for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF- NET) and the second, List of those candidates qualifying the Eligibility Test for Lectureship (NET), would be drawn up on the basis of their performance in the above Single CSIR – HRDG UGC Test, December 2016 .

There would be NEGATIVE MARKING FOR WRONG ANSWER, wherever required / applicable in accordance to Subject wise Scheme of the Examination.

In case of Multiple Choice Questions found wrong for any reason, the candidates shall be offered the benefit of the Marks for having attempted the same.

Educational Qualification:

A candidate must be M.Sc. or equivalent Degree / Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 years / B.E. / B.Tech. / B Pharma / MBBS with, at least, 55% Marks for General and OBC- Non-Creamy Layer Candidates (Central List only as mentioned in the National Commission for Backward Classes Website www.ncbc.nic.in) and 50% for SC/ST, Physically and Visually Handicapped candidates.

The candidates enrolled for M.Sc or having completed 10+2+3 years of the above stated Qualifying Examination (QE) as on 2016 , may also apply in the under the Result Awaited (RA) Category on the condition that they complete the Qualifying Degree with requisite percentage of marks within the validity period of Two (02) Years to avail the fellowship from the effective date of award.
