CBSE CTET Feb 2017 Application Form

For Class I-V Primary Stages For Class VI-VIII Elementary Stage
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor

in Education (B.Ed).

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

CTET Feb 2017 Admit Card

Applicability:

  1. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) shall apply to the Schools of the Central Government (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Central Tibetan Schools, etc.) and the Schools under the Administrative Control of Union Territories of Chandigarh, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu and Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep and National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCTD).
  2. The CTET may also apply to the Unaided Private Schools, who may exercise the option of considering the Central Teacher Eligibility Test.
  3. The Schools owned and managed by the State Government / Local Bodies and the Aided Schools shall consider the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government might also consider the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, if it decides not to conduct the State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).
  4. According to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Affiliation Bye-Law 53, prescribing the Minimum Qualifications for the Teachers to teach various Subjects in Classes I to VIII in the Schools Affiliated to the CBSE stands amended to that extent and it shall be mandatory that the Teachers appointed hereinafter, i.e., the 6th of March 2012 (06.03.2012) to teach 1st – 8th Classes (I to VIII) in the Schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education shall qualify / pass the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), conducted by the appropriate Central / State Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) for this purpose.
