Delhi Post Office PM MG Result 2017 Postman MailGuard Expected Cut Off Marks:

The Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Delhi, Ministry of Communications & Information Technology held Postman / Mail Guard Online Examination 2017 held commencing on 17.05.2017 up 21.05.2017 for Recruitment to 732 Posts of Postmen and Mail Guards in Delhi Postal Circle, Result for the Postmen / Mail Guards Online Re-Examination 2017:

The Office of the Chief Postmaster General shall shortly release tentatively before the 10th of July 2017 the Final Answers Key for the Test Question Booklet of the Delhi Postman / Mail Guard Online Aptitude Test 2017. Deadline for submission of the Objections / Challenge to the Test Question Booklet Answers Key came to an end on the 17th of June 2017 (17.06.2017).

The Office of the Chief Postmaster General is likely to announce before July-end 2017 the Result for the Postman / Mail Guard Online Aptitude Test 2017.     

Delhi Postal Office Postman / Mail Guard Online Re-Examination 2017 Cut-Off Marks Category-wise:

Selection Criteria:

The Department of Posts, based on the Aptitude Test, shall prepare Divisional Level Merit from among the Candidates declared as Qualified to the Posts under the Divisions / Units Concerned.

The Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MCIT) Office of the Chief Postmaster General shall prepare A Common Merit List for the respective Postal Divisions / Units in respect of all Categories of the Posts put together.

Procedure for Selection:

Final Selection shall be carried out as explained in the following Paragraphs notified by the Ministry of Communications & Information Technology, Government of India in respect of the Postal Circles in National Capital Territory of India.

The Office of the Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Postal Circle, based on the Candidates’ individual Performance and Marks obtained in the Aptitude Test, shall draw up Category-wise Merit for each Recruiting Division and Selection, which shall be purely on Merit Basis.

Provided that SC, ST, OBC, and PH candidates, who are selected on their respective Merit without Relaxed Standards, together with the Candidates belonging to other Communities, will not be adjusted against the Reserved Share of the Vacancies.

Such SC, ST, OBC, and PH candidates will be accommodated against the General / Un-Reserved Vacancies as per their individual position in the Merit List. The Reserved vacancies will be filled up separately from amongst the Eligible Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, and Physically Handicapped Candidates which will, thus, comprise the SC, ST, OBC and PH Candidates who are lower in Merit than the last General Candidate on the Merit List of the Un-Reserved Category but otherwise found suitable for appointment even by Relaxed Standard.

TIE Methodology for Selection:

It is further stated that:

if two or more Candidates secure Equal Marks in the Objective Aptitude Test and they are standing in the Last Position in the Merit List, then it is clearly stated that the Candidate Senior in Age will be considered for Selection.

if two or more Candidates secure Equal Marks in the Online Aptitude Test and they are standing in the Last Position in the Merit List & their Ages are also the same, then Candidates who secured Higher Percentage in the Matriculation would be considered for Selection:

1. New Delhi South West Division: 104 Posts
2. New Delhi West Division: 107 Posts
3. Delhi East Division: 107 Posts
4. New Delhi Central Division: 83 Posts
5. Delhi North Division: 116 Posts
6. New Delhi South Division: 160 Posts
7. Delhi General Post Office: 30 Posts
8. New Delhi Head Office: 25 Posts
Mail Guard: 08 Posts:

1. New Delhi Sorting Division: 01 Post
2. Delhi Sorting Division: 04 Posts
3. Airmail Sorting Division: 03 Posts
