The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) through its Notification in respect of the Online Examination for the next Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for selection of the personnel in Specialist Officers’ Cadre Posts in the Participating Organizations tentatively scheduled in January 2016.

IBPS Specialist Officer SPL-V Online Form 2015

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), Online Registration in respect of Common Recruitment Process for Recruitment of the Specialist Officers in the Participating Organizations (CRP SPL-V) commencing on the 23rd of November 2015 shall come to an end on the 10th of December 2015 (23.11.2015 – 10.12.2015) Hence, the Online Application Fee concurs.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection shall upload the Admission Letters / Hall Exam Tickets for the candidates after the 19th of January 2016 (19.01.2016) onwards. Thus, they may be able to start downloading of their respective Admission Certificates from the 20th of January 2016 (20.01.2016) onwards.

The Weightage (Ratio) of Online Common Written Examination (CWE) and interview will be 80:20. The Combined Final Scores of the candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of total scores obtained by the candidates in the Common Recruitment Process (CRP SPL-V) and Personal Interview.

For the Posts other than IT Officer Scale I, the candidates should have Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Computer Operations / Language / should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School / College / Institute.

Cut-off / Minimum Qualifying Marks:

The Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions contained in the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducted Common Recruitment Process – SPL V (CRP SPL – V) carry Equivalent Marks with a Penalty / Deduction of One-Fourth or 0.25% of the Mark for each Wrong Answer in order to Arrive At Corrected Score.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection shall adopt the following Procedure:

Scores:

  • The corrected Scores obtained by each of the candidates in different Sessions (if held) will be normalized using Equi-Percentile method.
  • Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations.

Cutoff Score:

Mean – 3/4th of the Standard Deviation (SD) for SC / ST / OBC / PwD Categories.

Mean – ¼th of Standard Deviation (SD) for General Category.

There will be a Second level Cut-Off Point on total as per requirement.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection shall shortlist the candidates for Personal Interview depending on the number of vacancies available, and the cutoffs will be decided. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection, prior to the completion of the Interview Process, shall not share with the candidates the Scores obtained in the Online Examination.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection shall take in consideration the Marks obtained only in the Main Examination of the Common Recruitment Process (CRP SPL – V) To Shortlist the Candidates For Personal Interview And Also For Final Merit listing.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection shall shortlist the Candidates based on their Performance and as per the Minimum Qualifying Marks determined for them to qualify the Common Recruitment Process (CRP SPL- V). The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection shall host in coordination with the Participating Banks / Financial Institutions the Personal Interview of the candidates in the Union Territories / States the candidates shall be declared having Qualified Institute of Banking Personnel Selection held Common Written Examination – SPL-V (CWE SPL –V), 2016.

Personal Interview:

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection shall host in March 2016 the Personality Test / Personal Interview / Oral Tests of the Candidates announced Successful in the Common Recruitment Process (CRP SPL-V) 2016. in the Participating Organizations / Financial Institutions, if any.

The Total Marks allotted for the Personal Interview are 100. The Minimum Qualifying Marks in the Interview will not be less than 40% for General / Unreserved Candidates & 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD Candidates. The Weight age (Ratio) of Common Written Examination (Main Exam) and Interview will be 80:20 respectively. The Combined Final Score of the Candidates shall be arrived at on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination of CWE (SPL-V) and Interview. The Interview Score of the Candidates failing to secure Minimum Qualifying Marks or otherwise barred from the Interview or further Process shall not be disclosed.

A candidate should qualify both in the Common Written Examination and interview and be sufficiently high in the merit to be shortlisted for subsequent Provisional Allotment Process, details of which will be made available subsequently on the IBPS Website.
