JEE Main B.Arch B.Tech Opening and Closing Ranks 2015:
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in respect of the Overall (Rank Topper and the Last Rank holder) declared ELIGIBLE for admission into for admission into Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) / National Institutes of Technology / Indian Institutes of Information Technology IIITs but excluding Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs ).

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Joint Entrance Examination Apex Board Secretariat determined Central Board of Secondary Education Joint Entrance Examination (Main), 2015 All India Rank (AIR) JEE (Main) Paper – I & Paper – II as soon as the same are published on the Central Board of Secondary Education Website. Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2015 based All India Rank shall be declared on the 7th of July, 2015 (07.07.2015).
The JEE (Main) 2015 – Score / Rank Cards shall be issued by the Joint Entrance Examination Apex Board Secretariat after declaration of All India Rank of Joint Entrance Examination (Main) (JEE – Main), 2015.
Methodology to arrive at the All India Ranks:
The Central Board of Secondary Education shall adopt the following method to decide / fix the All India Ranks of those candidates whose Merit based All India Rank shall be determined as hereunder:
100 x Number of Candidates in the ‘Group’ with Aggregate Marks less than the Candidate Total number of the Candidates in the ’Group’
The detailed for normalization of Qualifying Examination Marks is as follows:
Note down the Aggregate Marks (A0) obtained by each student in Joint Entrance Examination (Main) (JEE Main), 2015.
Compute the Percentile (P) of each student on the basis of the Aggregate Marks in his / her own Central Board of Secondary Education / Board (B0) Examination computed from the List of Five Subjects specified (each marked out of 100).
The Percentile is to be computed among all students of the CBSE whose Subject combinations meet with the Eligibility Criteria of JEE-Main, 2015.
The variable B0 is only a basis for Calculating Percentile (P), which is further used to get Corresponding JEE (Main) Marks.
Determine the JEE (Main), 2015 Aggregate Marks corresponding to the Percentile (P) at the All India Level. Regard this as B1.
Also, determine the JEE Main Aggregate Marks corresponding to Percentile (P) among the set of aggregate Scores obtained in the JEE Main by the students of that Central Board of Secondary Education. Regard this as B2.
