In view of the Commissioner (Examination Board) Maharashtra State Examination Council notified Maharashtra State Teacher Eligibility Test-2017  consisting of 02 Papers (i.e., Level I, scheduled to be conducted in Forenoon – Afternoon Session 1030 Hours – 1300 Hours and Level II slated to be held 1400 Hours – 1630 Hours) on the 22nd of July 2017 we look forward to Maharashtra State Examination Council to release before 1800 Hours the Test Question Booklets Answers Key in order of Set A, Set B, Set C & Set D for MAHATET 2017 on an even Day.  Therefore, the Candidates are advised to log into Maharashtra State Examination Council Website put up for display at the Concluding Part.  

Maharashtra TET Expected Cut-Off Marks 2017

Maharashtra State Examination Council (MSEC) declared Category-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks to be secured by the Un-Reserved (General) Category as well as Reserved Community Candidates Minimum Qualifying Marks in Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test / Maha Teachers Eligibility Test-2017 are cited in the Tabular Format exhibited in the Latter Part.

Maharashtra State Teacher Eligibility Test 2017:

Level Category Marks in Number and %age
Level – I – To be considered Eligible as Teacher for Class I – Standard V: Primary Teacher (PrT) General Categories in both PRT Level, Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher Levels (PGT)

60% (90 Marks)

Level – II – To be considered Eligible as Teacher for Classes VI – VIII: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

For Scheduled Castes and Differently-Abled Persons / Physically Challenged in both PRT Level, Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Post Graduate Teacher Levels (PGT

55% (83 Marks)

Level – 3 – To be considered Eligible as Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

For Scheduled Castes and Differently-Abled Persons/ Physically Challenged of other States

60% (90 Marks)

Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test 2017 Results:

The Commissioner (Examination Council) Maharashtra State Examination Board (MSEB) will declare before the 18th of August 2017 the Results for Maha TET 2017 subsequent to publishing the Test Question Booklets Answers Key Set-wise in Portable Document Format (PDF) File.

Those Candidates, who pass the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test 2017, shall be mailed both MAHATET 2017 Marks Statement / Score Card and Certificate with a Validity of 07-Years for teaching in the Government Schools in Maharashtra State.

Validity Period of Maha TET Certificate:

The Validity Period of the Maharashtra State TET 2017 Qualifying Certificate is Seven (07) Years with effect from the Date of Issuance of the Maharashtra Teachers Eligibility Test Certificate.
