The Military Engineer Services (MES) is likely to begin mailing the Admit Cards to the candidates on their Correspondence Address. The Candidates would be able to start downloading Two Weeks Before the Date of the Written Examination their respective Admission Certificates / Hall Exam Tickets from the Military Engineer Services Website.

The Military Engineer Services (MES) shall hold on the 27th of December 2015 (27.12.2015) for recruitment of the Candidates in the Posts and against the Vacancies Mate (Electrician) (67 Posts), Mate (Refrigerator Mechanic) (10 Posts), Mate (Fitter General Mechanic) (67 Posts), Mate (Vehicle Mechanic) (03 Posts), Mate (Pipe Fitter) (31 Posts), Mate (Carpenter) (12 Posts), Mate (Painter) (04) & Mate (Mason) (14 Posts)

Syllabus & the Pattern of the Written Examination:

The Military Engineer Services shall organize the Written Examination containing the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions (OTMCQs) based on the Syllabus. The Syllabus for the Written Examination shall be based on the Minimum Education Standard as prescribed for each Category covering all the Topics mentioned in their curriculum and also General Topics.

It is necessary for the Eligible Candidates to appear in a Written Test scheduled to be held on 27.12.2015.

The Military Engineer Services shall call the candidates strictly in order of the Merit in the Written Test.

The Candidates declared Successful subject to a Maximum of Two Times the vacancy will be called for documentation check.

The marking system is indicated as Annexure-II. The selection will be made in the following Stages:

The Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Examination.

The Candidates who qualify will be recommended for appointment by the Recruiting Authority.

Resolution of the Tie Cases:

In case of candidates having the same aggregate total marks, then the TIE is resolved by referring to the marks in the Written Examination, i.e., a Candidates having more marks in the Written Examination gets preference over the candidates having less works in the Written Examination.

This procedure is followed by Date of Birth, i.e., the candidate Older in Age gets preference. Lastly, if the tie still persists, the tie is Finally Resolved by referring to the alphabetical Order of Names, i.e., a Candidate whose name begins with the alphabet which comes First in the Alphabetical Order gets preference.
