The Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly is to release in the Second Week of March 2017 the Detailed Official Notification, Information Bulletin 2017 – 18 for admission into i) Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), ii) Master of Laws (LL.M.), Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Master of Education (M.Ed.) Program for the Academic Year 2017 – 2018.

The Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly conduct in May 2017, the LL.B. / LL.M. / M.Sc. / M.Ed. Entrance Tests 2017 for admission into the said Courses; issue One Week prior to the scheduled Dates for the Entrance Test 2017 – 18; announce in the First Week of June 2017 the Results of the said Entrance Examinations, 2017 held during May 2017; conduct Subject wise Counseling in June / July 2017 for admission into Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Master of Laws (LL.M.), Master of Science (M.Sc.), Master of Education (M.Ed.) cited here under:

MJPRU Eligibility Criteria & Selection Criteria:

Name of the Course / Program for Admission through MJPRUB PG / Master’s Entrance Test   Educational Qualification Post Graduate Entrance Test likely to be conducted in   Selection Criteria
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) The Candidates must hold Graduation / Post Graduate Degree with Minimum 45% Marks recognized by Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU).


However, those who have done Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) or have obtained Graduation / Post- Graduation through Open Universities system directly without having any Basic Qualifications for prosecuting such Studies are not Eligible for admission in Law Courses. (Bar Council of India Circular No. LE CIR: 02/2010 Dated. 20.12.2010.)

Shall consist of the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions with Maximum 200 Marks with Negative Marking of ¼th or (0.25) for each Wrong Answer.


The Entrance Test shall be in the following Format:

General Hindi:   40 MCQs

General English: 40 MCQs

General Knowledge, Current Affairs

including Legal

Awareness:   120 MCQs

200 MCQs





Performance of the candidates’ and the Marks secured by them in the MJPRU Entrance Examination 2016.


However, Merit List drawn up based on the candidates’ Performance and the Marks secured by them in the MJPRU Entrance Test 2016 in respect of the External Candidates from the Union Territories / States of India.

Reservation (Vertical & Horizontal.

Extra Marks for National Cadet Corps (NCC) / Sports Representation / Participation.

National Service Scheme (NSS).


Master of Laws (LL.M.) The Candidates must hold Graduation / Post Graduate Degree with Minimum 50% Marks from any University Recognized by the Central Government / State Government. . May 2016 (Tentative)

The Entrance Test shall comprise all 200 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions from

Master of Science (M.Sc.) The General Candidates must have passed B.Sc. (03-Years Course) with 45% Marks. For SC/ST Candidates, there will be an exemption of 5% as per the Rules.

The Group & Subject combinations required in the Qualifying Examinations for Admission in to M.Sc. 1st Year / Semester of different Courses shall be as

Entrance Paper Qualifying Subject All the Objective Questions (Four Options with Single correct answer) would carry Four (04) Marks for each correct Answer.

For each incorrect Response, one Mark would be deducted.

The Merit will be calculated purely on the basis of Marks secured by the candidates.

  **As per Admission Committee decision, if the candidates appeared in the Entrance Test of Environment Science are not available, then the candidates appeared in Botany / Zoology / Chemistry might be considered for admission in M.Sc. Environmental Science
Master of Education (M.Ed.) For admission into the course of Applied M.Ed. / M.Ed. (02-Years Course), the minimum Educational Qualification is B.Ed. or B.Ed. (Specializations) or L.T. Degree with Minimum 50% Marks in B.Ed. / B.Ed. (Specializations) / L.T, There will be 5% relaxation for SC/ST Candidates.

The Candidates who are appearing in the Eligibility Examination may also appear in the Entrance Test, would have to submit their respective Mark-sheet of the required Eligibility at the time of Counseling for Admission, In case the candidate falls to fulfill the Minimum Required Eligibility, then his / her claim for admission will not be considered.

The Entrance Test for Applied M.Ed. / M.Ed. (02-Years) will be through only one Objective Type Questions Paper shall comprise 200 Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions in Hindi and English Languages.

Applied M.Ed. / M.Ed. (02-Years) Entrance Test Paper will comprise Multiple Choice Questions based on Current Affairs, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, Teaching Aptitude, Educational Technology, Philosophical, and Sociological Foundations of Education and Emerging Problems of the Indian Education System.

One (01) Mark shall be awarded for every correct Answered and ¼th or (0.25) Mark would be deducted for every incorrect Answer. However, no mark will be deducted for Questions not attempted.



Strictly in order of Merit List drawn up based on the candidates’ performance and Marks in the Master of Education Entrance Test / M.Ed. Entrance Test (MEET).

The Controller of Examinations shall display on MJPRU Website the Result of the Applied M.Ed. / M.Ed. (02-Years) Entrance Test.

The Candidates Shortlisted in the M.Ed. Entrance Test 2016 shall be summoned for Counseling for admission into M.Ed. Program of Two (02) Years’ duration.

MJPRU Entrance Test 2017 Admit Card

The Contenders, who are going to appear in the MJPRU Entrance Exam 2017, they can download hall ticket before 2 weeks of examination. Admit card can be downloaded by using registration number, date of birth or password. Call letter will be available soon on the official web portal. All details about examination such as exam date, time & exam center will be available on the admit card.

The MJPRU University will declare the Entrance Test results after the completion of the exam at the immediately possible through the university website. Appeared candidates can check and download the results by the use of hall ticket number and date of birth.

MJPRU LL.B LL.M M.ED M.Sc Counseling 2017

After the final results of the entrance test, university notifies the counseling dates through the public notice on the notice board and university website. All colleges release their cutoff through several numbers of counseling. For all counseling details, students shall be at the counseling venue to confirm their seats in any particular college in particular course. Students can visit the university website for all information regarding counseling and seats in colleges, courses, and fee for the courses. After all counseling process, University will release the final list of the candidates.
