STATE SERVICES (PRELIMINARY) EXAMINATION, 2017: SCHEME OF THE MP STATE SERVICE (PRELIM) EXAM 2016:  

The Preliminary Examination will consist of Two Papers of Objective Type (Multiple Choice Questions). Each Paper will be set in accordance with the Scheme given below: Paper I General Studies Two (02) Hours carrying 200 Marks Paper II General Aptitude Test Two (02) Hours carrying 200 Marks.

Patterns of the State Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2017 & State Services (Main) Examination, 2017 are as here under:

  1. The State Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2017consisting of Two Paper, each carrying 200 Marks shall be Two (02) Hours’ duration.
  2. The State Services (Main) Examination shall consist of Seven Papers of Essay Type Conventional Papers; each carrying 300 Marks shall be of Three (03) Hours’ duration.

Shortlisting based on the Category wise Expected Cut-Off Marks / Minimum Qualifying Marks in the Madhya Pradesh State Services (Main) Examination, 2015. The Candidates, in order to be considered Eligible for Personality Test / Personal Interview shall have to obtain Minimum Percentage of Marks as prescribed here under:

Personality Test / Personal Interview 250 Marks The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission shall call the Candidates 3 times of the No. of the Posts notified for Recruitment.

 

Final Selection / Final Result shall be on the bases of the Performance and Marks secured in Aggregate the State Service (Main) Examination, 2015 and Personality Test put together against the No. of Vacancies likely to be notified by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. Hence, the Candidates shall have to secured Sufficient High Marks / Maximum Marks Category to be accorded Preference for Final Selection

Madhya Pradesh State Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2017 Syllabi:

(5) Of the engineering subjects; viz., Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering not more than One Subject.

(6) Of the Literatures of Hindi, English, Sanskrut and Urdu Languages not more than One Subject.

(1) Each Paper will be of Three (03) Hours’ Duration. (2) The Question Papers for the Examination will be of Conventional Essay Type.

(A) The Question Papers other than the Language Papers would be both in Hindi and English Languages. The Question Papers of Engineering Subjects will be only in English Language. (b) The Candidates will have the option to answer the Question Papers in Hindi or English Language except in case of Language Papers.

Question No. 1 of each Paper (Consisting 20 Short Answer Questions each one is to be answered in One or Two lines) will be Compulsory. Each Question will carry 3 Marks; Maximum portion of the syllabi will be covered under these Questions.

EXAM E HALL TICKET 2017

The department will upload the exam e hall ticket/admit card for State service 2017 prelims as wells as mains exam before the 15 days from the examination at the website of the MPPSC. You can download your prelims exam admit card by entering your application number and date of birth etc details through the website of the department.

ANSWER KEY 

The candidates can download the State Service exam answer key with all set like A, B, C, D within 10 days from the examination at the official portal of the commission.

RESULTS

The department will declare the results along with expected cut off marks separately through the website as stated hereunder at the soonest possible promptly after the completion of the examination. Those candidates will secure minimum qualifying marks in the prelims and mains exam their name will be shortlisted in the merit list.

PERSONAL INTERVIEW

Those candidates will be shortlisted in the merit list then they will face the next round that is personal interview. The department will send them interview call letter through the official website of the MPPSC portal.
