The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has issued the official recruitment notification to invite the online application from the eligible and energetic candidates for the post of Junior assistant & Junior clerk in various departments.

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) , Candidates of Odisha who were waiting for the recruitment advertisement for many days so this is good news for them that OSSC has published the recruitment advertisement at its official website for the job of Junior Clerk and Junior Assistant. Candidates who want to apply shall have to apply online from the official website of OSSC.
OSSC 417 Vacancies Application Form 2015-16:
Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) shall start asking online application form from 19th September, 2015 and Aspirants will be able to fill the application form till 30th October, 2015. The Preliminary Examination shall be conduct on 27th December, 2015.

Candidates who are wishful for applying for the above posts should have their age in between 18 to 32 years as on 1st January, 2015. Upper age limit relaxation will be available to the candidates of SEBC, SC, ST & Women candidates for 5 years and to PwD candidates for 10 years.
Candidates to be eligible for the earlier mentioned post must have passed 10+2 or equivalent qualification from the recognized board of Institution. Candidates should also have Basic Computer Knowledge.
The candidates other than SC / ST and PwD will have to pay the examination fee of Rs 100. The examination fee by the applicant can be deposited by online, offline or conventional method. Candidates belonging to the SC / ST and PwD need not to pay any fee.
How to apply:
Candidates to apply for the earlier mentioned post will have to apply online by click at the online application link / portal of the OSSC. You should require providing all the details with respect to the educational and personal details. Pay the examination fee by the use of Online, Offline or Conventional method of depositing it in Treasury. Take a print of the application form for the future correspondence.

|Preliminary Examination||The combined Preliminary Examination will be held on General Awareness and will be objective type with Multiple choices of Answer to be answered in the OMR sheet Question will be from Current Events, History, Geography, General Science, Constitution of India, Human Rights, Basic Computer Skill Test, English Language / Odia Language Comprehension. It is a screening test and will be qualifying in nature.|
|Main (Written) Examination||Syllabus, Pattern and Plan will be notified later at the official website of OSSC.|
|Computer Skill test||It should contains matters related to the Computer Operation and Handling, typing and word processing.|
Candidates who will qualify in Preliminary Examination equivalent to 12 times of vacancies available will be called for the Main (Written) Examination. Candidates numbering 3 times the vacancies will be called for the Computer Skill test as per the marks obtained in the Mains Examination. Candidates must have to secure at least 30 marks in the computer skill test to secure called for the verification of the documents. Those candidates qualified in the computer skill test will be called for the document verification of their original certificates and proof of identity. And In last OSSC will prepared the category wise merit list as per the marks obtained in the Main Examination and then their name will be sponsored for appointment as Junior Assistant and Junior Clerk.
