The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is likely to announce the Result of the Constables (General Duty) in CAPFs, NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2015 held on the 4th of October 2015:

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) would display on our Website the Result of the Constables (General Duty) in CAPFs, NIA & SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2015 followed declaration of the same.

The Community-wise Minimum Qualifying Marks as NOTIFIED / DETERMINED as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Staff Selection Commission are as follows:

  • General and Ex-Servicemen : 35%
  • SC/ST/OBC: 33%

However, the candidates having scored higher than the above-cited Community-wise Minimum Percentage of Marks shall have to appear in the Medical Examination. The Commission shall have the discretion to fix different Qualifying Standards for the candidates belonging to different Categories in different States / Union Territories (UTs), taking into consideration vacancies allotted to each State / Union Territory (UT),

The Selected Candidates shall be medically examined by the Medical Boards constituted by the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) to assess their physical and Medical Fitness as prescribed in the Eligibility Conditions. “Those who do not produce Domicile Certificate would not be allowed to appear for Medical Examination”

for recruitment / induction of the candidates in the Border Security Force (BSF); Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF); Central Industrial Security Force (CISF); Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP); Sahastra Seema Bal (SSB); National Investigation Agency (NIA); Secretariat Service Force (SSF) and the Rifleman in Assam Rifles (RARs / RAR).

Mode Of Selection:

The Commission will prepare the Final Merit List of the candidates Category wise and State-wise without making any Force allocation. The Force allocation will be done by Nodal Central Reserve Police Force / Ministry of Home Affairs (CAPF / MHA) and the Final Result will also be declared by them.

Resolution of TIE Cases:

  1. The TIE is resolved by the Commission by referring to the total marks in the Written Examination, i.e., a candidate having more marks in the Written Examination gets preference over the candidate(s) with less Marks.
  2. If the TIE still persists, then the Marks in Part A are referred to, i.e., a candidate having more Marks in Part A is given preference.
  3. If the TIE still persists, the candidate Older in Age gets Preference.
  4. If the TIE still persists, it is finally resolved by referring to the Alphabetical Order of the Names; i.e., a candidate whose name begins with the Alphabet, which comes First in the Alphabetical Order gets Preference.
