SSC Stenographer {Grade C &D} Results 2015 Declared, Skill Test Dates,Call Letter:

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the result Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination 2015-Declaration of Result of Written Examination to call candidates for Skill Test in various Departments under the Union Government (Central) and State Governments across India.

The Staff Selection Commission would generate the Admittance Cards / Hall Examination Tickets for the candidates Two Weeks prior to the Date of the Commencement of the Skill Test for the Qualified candidates in the written Examination. We would inform our visitors of downloading of the Admission Certificates/ Call Letter / Hall Exam Ticket.

The Staff Selection Commission’s forthcoming SSC All India Combined Competitive Stenographers Grade ‘C’ & Grade ‘D’ Examination, 2015 shall consist of Two Stages:

  1. Online Test comprising the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions;
  2. Skill Test in Stenography (English & Hindi Languages)
  • Final Merit List

SKILL TEST IN STENOGRAPHY:

Only the Candidates, who obtained the Qualifying Marks in the Written Examination, as may be prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission, would be called for the Skill Test (English and Hindi Shorthand Test consisting of the Dictation and Transcription). The SSC may also prescribe Qualifying Marks in each Part of the Written Examination. THE SKILL TEST WILL BE OF QUALIFYING NATURE and the Commission will fix the qualifying standards in the Skill Test for different categories of the candidates.

The candidates will have to appear for the Shorthand Test. They will be given one Dictation for 10 Minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 W.P.M. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 W.P.M. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘D’.

The matter will have to be transcribed on computer only. The transcription time is as follows:

SELECTION CRITERIA:

The Candidates would be shortlisted for the Skill Test on the basis of their Performance in the Written Examination. The Candidates who qualify in the Skill Test shall be recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of their respective performance in the Written Examination.

Allocation of candidates will be made to User Departments depending upon their Merit, Position and the Option exercised by them.

Resolution of Tie Cases:

In case where more than one candidate secures the equal Aggregate Marks, Tie will be resolved by applying the following methods one after another;

  1. Marks in the First Part of the Written Examination;
  2. Date of Birth, with Older Candidates placed higher;
  • Alphabetical Order in which first names of the candidates appear.
