TN SLET Form 2017, Tamil Nadu SET Apply Online | Admit Card | Syllabus | Results:

Online Registration in response to the Mother Teresa Women’s University (MTWU) on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC) for State Eligibility Test for Assistant Professors conduct the SLET 2017 at the soonest possible promptly. The students may apply for Online TN SLET 2017 Application form on or before the last date through the website as stated hereunder.

TN SLET/SET Test 2017 Application Form 

The Mother Teresa Women’s University (MTWU), Upon Successful Submission of the Online Applications / Submission of Online Application Forms, he Candidates shall be able to take Print-out of their respective e-Admission Letters / Admission Certificates / Hall Tickets. The students who are interesting and eligible candidates may apply for the online application form till the last date of form submission through the university official portal.

Mother Teresa Women’s University shall conduct the TN SET 2017 to determine the eligibility of the Candidates for Assistant Professor in Tamil Nadu Universities and Colleges.

Mother Teresa Women’s University shall declare the Results of the Tamil Nadu State Level Eligibility Test only upon publishing the Final Answers Key.

We anticipate Mother Teresa Women’s University to announce in the month of March/April 2017 the Result of Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test 2017.

General The Candidates must have secured Minimum 55% (Without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities / institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi, in subjects like Science, Humanities (including Languages), Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic science etc.

 

The Candidates who have appeared (OR) will be appearing at the Master’s Degree (Final Year) Examination and whose Result is still awaited (OR) the candidates whose Qualifying Examinations have been delayed may also appear for this TN SLET. However, such candidates shall be admitted provisionally and for those who clear the TNSET- 2017 Examination, Eligibility Certificate would be issued only on production of proof for having passed the

Master’s Degree or Equivalent Examination securing at least 55% Marks (without rounding off) for General Category

The Ph.D. Degree holders whose Master’s Degree completed on or before 19th September 1991 (irrespective of declaration of result) shall be eligible for a relaxation of 5% marks for appearing in TNSET-2017 examination

Minimum Cut-off Marks for TN SLET – 2017

Step I:

Minimum marks to be obtained in SET for considering a candidate for eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor.

The candidates have to obtain following Minimum Marks separately in Paper-I, Paper-II and Paper-III as mentioned here below:

Step II:

Amongst those candidates who have cleared Step I, a Merit List will be prepared subject-wise and category-wise using the aggregate marks of all the three papers secured by such candidates.

Step III:

Top 15% candidates (for each Subject and Category), from the Merit List mentioned under step II, will be declared SET qualified for eligibility for the posts of Assistant Professors and Librarian.

However, in order to be selected on Merit for the Posts of Assistant Professor, a candidate shall have to secure relatively Higher Marks in the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) 2017.

Mother Teresa Women’s University shall conduct the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test 2017 comprising the Objective-Type Multiple Choice Questions sans Negative Marking based on the 25 Subjects mentioned here under.

Tamil Nadu SLET Hall Ticket/Admit Card 2017

The department of MTWU will be upload the SLET 2017 e hall ticket/admit card before starting the examination. they will provide you e admit card before 10-15 days from the examination through the website of the university official portal.
