UPSC SCRA 2016 Notification,Application Last Date,Syllabus

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the latest notification with reference to inviting online application for the examination of Special Class Railway Apprentices (SCRA) 2016 at its official website. All the interested and wishful candidates who want to apply for the above examination as accordance to the eligibility will be required to apply online at the official website.

UPSC SCRA 2016 Notification, Application Last Date 2016:

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will commence the online registration for the SCRA examination from 3rd October, 2015. Candidates will be able to apply online till the date 30th October, 2015. The examination for the SCRA will be scheduled to conduct on the 10th January, 2016. The E-admit letters for the examination shall be released at the official website 15 days prior to commencement of examination. The result of it shall be declared after the examination.

Age Limitation:

Candidates who are interested to apply for the above examination of SCRA, must not have attained the age less than 17 years and not more than 21 years. SC/ST candidates will get 5 years of upper age limit relaxation and OBC will get 3 years of upper age limit relaxation.

Educational Qualification:

  1. Candidates must have passed first or second division the 12th / Intermediate class with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as there degree subjects may also apply.
  2. Candidates must have passed first/ Second year examination under, the 3 year degree course in the first or second division with Mathematics and either Physics or Chemistry as subjects of the examination.

Selection Procedure:

The selection process will contain the written test of 600 marks and Personality Test (Interview) 200 marks. Candidates who will qualify in the written test will be called for the personality test.
