UPSC SO/STENO LTD. DEPTTL.Comp. 2015 Notification, Application:

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Date for inviting the Online Application Forms from the candidates for SO / Stenographer (GD –B / GD-I) through Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) 2015.

UPSC Stenographer (Gr-B|I) Online Application 2015

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Online Registration for the LTD. DEPTTL. COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION 2015 shall commence on the 11th of July 2015 (11.07.2015).

Online Registration for the Ltd. Deptl. Competitive Examination (Written) 2015 shall come to an end on the 7th of August 2015 (07.08.2015).

The Union Public Service Commission shall conduct on the 17th and 18th of October Online Objective Test and Subjective Test 2015 for S.O. / Steno (GD-B / GD-I) LTD. DEPTTL. COMPETITIVE EXAM 2015 (WRITTEN).

Download Admittance Cards / Hall Tickets:

The Union Public Service Commission shall generate the e-Admit Cards for the admitted candidates for the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination, 2015. The Union Public Service Commission would upload the Admit Cards / Hall Exam Tickets on the UPSC’s Website THREE (03) WEEKS (i.e., LATEST BY SEPTEMBER 26, 2015) before the Date of the commencement of this examination and can be downloaded by the Eligible Candidates.

Selection Procedure:

Note 1: Marks obtained in the evaluation of record of Service will be counted for Ranking;

Note 2: There shall be a minimum of 40% (Forty Percent) Marks in the evaluation of record of Service. Therefore, such candidates that obtain less than 40% (Forty percent) Marks in the evaluation of record of Service will not be considered for Ranking.

The subjects, wherein the candidates competing for different categories of services will be required to take the Written Examination, will be as follows:

Penalty for Wrong Answers (in Objective Type Papers):

There shall ne Penalty (Negative Marking) for Wrong Answers Marked by a Candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers:

  1. There are four alternatives for the answer to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the Candidate, One-third (0.33) of the Marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
  2. If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a Wrong Answer even if one of the given answers happens to be correct and there will be same penalty as above for that question.
  3. If a question is left blank, i.e., no answer is given by the candidate, there will be no penalty for that question.
