USET 2017 Result: Taking cognizance of Kumaun University (KU) conducted Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test 2017 For Eligibility for Assistant Professors 2017 on the 29th of October 2017 (29.10.2017); we look forward to the State Nodal Agency to Announce the Result only post-release of Test Question Paper Booklet Set-wise Final Answers Key in order of Set A, Set B, Set C & Set D.

Kumaun University may declare well-nigh on mid-December 2017 the Result for Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test 2017 held in 27 Subjects.  Kumaun University, post-Announcement of U’khand SET 2017 Result, will publish the same on the Website displayed in the Latter Part of the Information Bulletin.

Kumaun University may announce towards in December 2017 the Result for U’khand SET 2017 for Award of Junior Research Fellowship / Eligibility for Assistant Professor.

Uttarakhand State Eligibility Test 2017:

Step I

It is mandatory for the Candidates desiring to appearing in the State Eligibility Test to secure the Minimum Qualifying Marks to be considered Junior Research Fellowship & Eligibility for Assistant Professor as herein above.

Step II

Amongst those Candidates who have cleared Step I, Merit List would be drawn up (Subject-wise and Category-wise) by using the Aggregate Marks secured by the Candidates in the aforecited 03 (Three) Papers.

Step III

Top 15% Candidates (for each Subject and Category), from the Merit List mentioned under Step II shall be declared State Eligibility Test (SET) for Junior Research Fellowship And Eligibility for Assistant Professor only.

Step IV

Kumaun would draw up a Separate Merit List for awarding the Junior Research Fellowship to the candidates from amongst the NET Qualified Candidates figuring in the Merit List under Step III.

Furthermore, Gujarat State Eligibility Test makes the aforestated Qualifying Criteria FINAL & BINDING on the Candidates.

Uttarakhand USET Expected Cut Off Marks 2017

Top 6% of the Uttarakhand SET Participating Candidates, who appear in all Three Papers and secure Minimum 40% of the Aggregate Marks for Un-Reserved / General Candidates in Paper I & Paper II and 50% Marks in Paper III, in case of Other Backward Classes and Socio-Economically Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) at least 35% of the Aggregate Marks in Paper I & Paper II and 45% Marks in Paper III as well as Other Backward Classes (NCL) and for Reserved Category Candidates belonging to Persons with Disabilities / Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Categories, 35% of the Aggregate Marks in Paper I & Paper II and 40% Marks in Paper III will be declared Qualified for Eligibility for Assistant Professor by following the Reservation Policy of the Government of Gujarat State.

The University Grants Commission determined the Minimum Qualifying Marks for the Candidates to be considered Eligible for being awarded Junior Research Fellowship / Eligibility for Assistant Professor is as here under:
